List of Documents Required to Upload

 

You need to upload scanned copies of the following documents, ensuring that the file size for each document is less than 50 KB.

  1. Proof of Ownership: This can be any of the following documents:
    • Registry
    • Actual Farred
    • Baynama
    • Allotment Letter (if applicable in the case of a housing colony)
    • All pages of these documents must be duly attested by an Oath Commissioner, Notary Public, or Class One Officer.
  2. Undertaking by the Applicant:
    • This is a statement made by the applicant on stamp paper.
    • It should confirm that no electricity connection is previously available at the required location and that no arrears exist.
    • The undertaking must be as per the specimen available in the concerned office and duly attested by an Oath Commissioner.
    • The applicant agrees to pay any arrears if found later.
  3. Power of Attorney (if applicable):
    • If there is more than one owner, a power of attorney is required.
    • This document should be available in the concerned office and must be on stamp paper.
    • It should be attested by an Oath Commissioner, giving the applicant authorization from other owners.
  4. No Objection Certificate (if the applicant is a tenant):
    • Tenants must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
    • This certificate must be according to the specimen available in the concerned office, on stamp paper, and attested by an Oath Commissioner.
    • The NOC must come from the property owner.
  5. Attested Copy of CNIC:
    • A copy of the applicant’s CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) should be attested and uploaded.
  6. Attested Copies of CNIC of Two Witnesses:
    • Required if applicable.
    • Not necessary if applying for a single-phase meter.
  7. Copy of the Concerned Tariff:
    • This must be duly signed by the consumer and witnesses.
    • For domestic and commercial connections, the signatures of witnesses are not necessary.

Time Frame for New Connections
