How to Update Load Shedding? – Updation Procedure of Load Shedding Schedule

Multan Electric Power Company ( MEPCO) is responsible to distribute electricity and collect bill payment. To provide smooth distribution across the MEPCO Jurisdiction , MEPCO grid stations need to schedule load shedding for maintenance.

MEPCO employees are assigned to update load shedding schedule. If you are MEPCO employee and looking for complete procedure, read the below instructions.

  • Open MEPCO’s Web Site www.mepco.com.pk 
  • Click “Update Load Shedding” from Services Menu.
  • Enter your Circle’s USERNAME and PASSWORD and click “Login” Button.
  • The Feeder Wise Load Shedding Schedule will be displayed.
  • For Adding the load shedding schedule for a Feeder click “Add” and for changing load shedding schedule for a Feeder click “Change”
  • Enter Load Shedding Timings for the selected Feeder.
  • Click “Save” Button.
  • Repeat Step 5 to Step 7, for one by one Updation of all Feeders.

Continuously supply of Electricity to wide area is not an easy task. It require to shutdown the grid stations and other equipment for their long term use.

Load shedding schedule are essential to keep the equipment update and in working condition. MEPCO announced the routine load shedding schedule as well as seasonal maintenance of plant and grid stations.

The power remain cut off during load shedding hours. MEPCO users are advised to manage their tasks according to load shedding schedule.
